Bio
Ronald Horvat, a talented artist hailing from Slovenia, has been passionate about art since the beginning of his career. After earning a degree in Multimedia Production from the Institute and Academy of Multimedia in Ljubljana, he gained experience working with global companies before establishing his own design studio in the same city. Today, Ronald's artwork graces a variety of products, including fine wine labels, coffee and juice packaging, and even major power tool brands. His designs extend to automotive wheels, toys, and aftermarket motorcycle parts across both the Americas and Europe. If you've traveled through Europe, chances are you've encountered his work, perhaps even on a pair of leggings worn by a passerby.
Growing up as a teenager in the Communist-era Republic of Yugoslavia during the 80s and 90s, many individuals lacked the resources or permission to own a car. For those fortunate enough to have a vehicle, customizing it with aftermarket wheels or parts was strictly prohibited, unlike the freedom enjoyed by American teens. Ronald, however, found solace in his artistic talent, sketching cars adorned with any modifications he could imagine. He eagerly collected American automotive magazines, treating them like rare treasures, carefully flipping through their pages. This deep-seated passion for automobiles ignited his admiration for European sports cars, yet, constrained by his environment, he channeled his creativity into drawing commercial packaging, logos, and designs to make a living.
Ronald's "Clean Style" in design and art caught the eye of a prominent figure in a specialized market, paving his way to America as a commercial graphic designer. His creative visions and artistic talents have transformed him from a young teenager with just a pencil and paper into a pioneer in the realm of limitless design and fine art.
